Short, sculpted rows — the most-tested profile and the safest default. PBTfans 9009, 6085, Clarvoy, and 1984 Dark all use it.
XDA & MOA
Taller, more uniform rows for a flat, minimalist look. XDA (Botanical) sits low and even; MOA (XVX Pink) is a taller, spherical take.
JDA & OEM
JDA (Red Fuji) is a spherical, high-coverage Akko profile that fits almost any layout; OEM (HyperX, Tsungup) is the standard gaming-board shape.

Quick advice
6085 is Cherry profile, warm cream and grey, and its base kit was in stock when we checked in October 2026. 9009 is the classic retro pick, but its Base kit sells out between restocks, so check it before you build around it. If you want something bolder, Dagaladoo Gradient Purple is a strong second pick; 1984 Dark suits a darker anodized case, though its base kit is pre-order only right now. PBT resists the glossy shine ABS develops, but it still collects finger oils, so cleaning your keycaps every few months is what keeps the texture matte.
For TKL and full-size builds, HyperX Doubleshot PBT covers the layout cleanly without compatibility worries. Want more character? PBTfans 9009 is the classic retro palette, Clarvoy is the clean all-white modern one, and Akko Red Fuji brings a Japanese-art theme with wide 60%-to-full-size coverage.
